There is no Checkpoint Flag.īehind the blue doors, Roy Koopa is fought here for the second time. If Mario or any of the other players stay too long between a wall and the edge of the screen, the autoscrolling level squishes them, instantly killing them and causing them to lose a life. Lava Bubbles are also common in this castle. In order to complete that area quickly, the player needs to take the upper route, the lower route, and the center route in that exact order. If the correct path is taken, a chime indicating so sounds and the player will go to the next part if it is incorrect, a buzzer sounds and the player will have to repeat the same area all over again. Take the tube upwards to the level's exit.This is an autoscrolling castle level filled with lava pits, and three-way corridors, of which only one is the correct path, much like in Super Mario Bros. Keep leaping off Bills until you get to the coin. Use the barrage of Bills to leap towards the coin in the upper left. In the area above you'll encounter more Bullet Bills than you bargained for. You can also use a Propeller Mushroom to fly up the pipe. Either freeze one with an ice ball or just jump on one to get a boost up. To get to this pipe you'll need to use the Bullet Bills firing from the far left. It's a green warp pipe hanging in the upper right. The final coin in this level is in a secret warp pipe just past the red warp pipe leading to the flag area. You have to stand on the top platform(without tilting the Wii remote), and drop down to the other platform below. The second coin is between two platforms you can control by tilting your Wii Remote. Instead, use the Banzai Bill to get a boost into the first coin in the upper right. Just before the giant Banzai Bill canon at the end of the first stretch is the red pipe leading to the rest of the level.
